Hi All, A while ago there was some discussion about including sfSyncClusterPlugin into the base Symfony distribution. http://www.symfony-project.org/plugins/sfSyncClusterPlugin
As a refresher, sfSyncClusterPlugin introduces the "sync-cluster" task and functions as a backwards-compatible, drop-in replacement for the regular "sync" task. It: *Supports deploying assets to 1 or more remote servers *Supports named server groups, in addition to dev/prod/etc configurations *Allows you to remotely deploy assets to CDNs There was some interest in including this code into the main Symfony base. Has there been any progress on that? Any additions to the todos? Just curious. I'd be willing to do whatever work necessary to help with the integration if possible. I personally depend on this plugin on a daily basis as it is the only reliable, Symfony-native way to deploy an application across a group of machines, without having to resort to an overkill solution like Puppet or similar. Does anyone else think this would be a good addition?
