Come to think of it, the delete button can't be implemented in the validator because the rest of the form might not validate and the validator shouldn't take any concrete action on its own that would create an inconsistent situation in that case. But shouldn't there be at least helper methods somewhere to do the work and documentation on what method of the form to call them from (updateObject perhaps, or doSave)?
