Version 3.0.0 is >= 3.0.0. Is this really the error causing the "no valid packages found" message or is something else at fault? This is currently a dealbreaker for users who prefer to install via plugin-install. I have up to date Symfony 1.2.x from SVN. The user who pointed out the problem has 1.2.4.
