Hi Thomas, Version is additional information you supply when opening a ticket. It says "The ticket at least has a sensible meaning for this version / the bug at least occurs here" Milestone is a filed you should leave empty (why cant trac enforce this) When a ticket gets fixed the milestone is updated with information which is basically the opposite of version: "The comment is incorporated in version / The bug was fixed in"
