Thank you Fabien I think this is what is needed. I suggest tweaking
the language a little...

"`sfCompat10Plugin` and `sfProtoculousPlugin` have been removed from
1.4. If you are explicitly disabling them in your project's
configuration class files, such as
config/ProjectConfiguration.class.php,  you must remove all mention of
them from those files."
