FYI Google is having a terrible time returning the 2009 advent calendar in search results. It doesn't seem to be very findable on the site either. Eventually I dug around enough to locate http://www.symfony-project.org/advent_calendar/1/en but it's just the last one-word link in a long blog post that takes you there. Suggest making it clear that this thing is underway and where to find it in some more prominent way.
