Hi! When having email address involved in the guard system, then allways it would be room for another modules like: - account activation via email - register module( it might have been told about it) - maybe a profile module - posibility for the user to change his email address ( and, of course email validation)
Of course, this, could be done as a separate plugin, because not all the devs would like / use them.
