It may be a bit premature to have widgets dedicated to HTML5 form 
functionality, browser support is still pretty basic and sporadic.  (Here's a 
good comparison table: http://www.standardista.com/html5/html5-web-forms)

It's already possible to attempt to provide support for HTML5 elements in 
Symfony using the standard widgets and passing a 'type' option. I've done this 
with my blog comment form:
