Just wondering. I realize part of the point of posting to this list is
to elicit discussion.
I have already had some pull requests with the new system. It looks good
to me but the discussion is less open as nobody is "subscribed" to the
pull request.
But we can try to use it for smaller patches for sure and see how it goes.
