By default I mean, docs, recommended best practice, default format when you do init:bundle, and recommended format for open source bundle.. As we discussed, whatever we recommend will most likely be used by 90-95% of the sf2 devs. Anyway in general I agree this would be a great addition to the Yaml component, but I'd not be as interested to spend time on it if I don't clearly see the outcome with regard to Symfony2.
