Hi, I'm maintening the Symfony2-e-commerce project to the current
Symfony dev: https://github.com/docteurklein/Symfony2-e-commerce

As Ryan said, you can watch on http://symfony2bundles.org/project/lastCommitAt
to see what project are frequently updated.

If you want to start from the scratch, you can use the
https://github.com/symfony/symfony-bootstrapper to init a new project
skeleton.
