Hey all,
I have been following Symfony2 with glee and delight. Watching the changes,
and messing in the sandbox.
I was wondering if any thought has been given to rewriting the askeet/jobeet
tutorials/application as a Symfony2 app. From my perspective, I learned
symfony via askeet, and I have a LOT to learn about Symfony2 (for instance
almost all my development for work still resides in Propel based models, and I
have virtually no experience in Doctrine).
So while the documentation has come leaps and bounds from where it was when the
first PR release came out, I find myself struggling to learn best practices
with a new system. There is also a lack (from what I have seen, PLEASE correct
me if I am wrong) or open source example applications that have been tossed
about in Symfony2.
Maybe I am putting the cart before the horse, but practical examples for many
people are far easier to learn from. I'd be glad to offer my own time to help
in a project like this, or in writing documentation for a project like it.

PS: If you have seen any Symfony2 apps floating around, I'd love to see how ppl
are implementing code, specifically I am REALLY interested in anything dealing
with MongoDB/Doctrine, Forms, Form based user auth (basic is incredibly basic).
The form based auth is implemented in
https://github.com/FriendsOfSymfony/UserBundle and as Gustavo said
symfony2bundles can help a lot.
