+1 but with this structure I think there is a drawback.
When you want to extend a bundle functionality (like with UserBundle, you
want to edit templates). Where do you put the extended bundle ?
because with this:
app/
cache/
config/
logs/
...
bundles/
Application/
FrontendBundle/
BackendBundle/
Sensio/
CasBundle/
FrameworkExtraBundle/
Kriss/
FacebookBundle
...
vendor/
doctrine/
symfony/
zend/
...
web/
there is no "easy" way put the extended FOS\UserBundle or
bundles/Applications/FOS/UserBundle no?
But this is a good improvments :)
