Hi, I must admit that when I first read that Symfony2 will be two times faster than symfony 1.4 http://symfony-reloaded.org/fast I approached this with considerable caution.
In the case of a simple site without database connection - (basically it is the simplest page that can be created with symfony) - rendering time is over 2.5 times faster on Symfony2 (I use Twig as template engine), and is used almost two times less memory. symfony 1.4.8 http://i55.tinypic.com/b62b9z.jpg Symfony2 http://i53.tinypic.com/2exvv6f.jpg (This is not a benchmark or anything related to performance testing - it's just two screens of my site :)) Many thanks to all involved in Symfony2 development! You have done a great job! -- Best regards, Michal http://eventhorizon.pl/ -- If you want to report a vulnerability issue on symfony, please send it to security at symfony-project.com You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "symfony developers" group.
