Thanks Konstantine, that is exactly what we have done up to now. Implementing several components, but for this we don't need a framework, we'd need a library, and although Symphony has great components there is no need to be parts of a framework but a more focused library.
Probably I've not explained myself as well as I thought, we are interested in the 'Application' part, not components, wondering if the Application or kernel elements in Symfony2 for Client scripts or applications can succeed or not. I'll check your blog!, however using components is something that we've done since years I'd say, and we are now looking for a framework, not another library.
