Hello!

I was more than impatient when conference in Paris was approaching -
that was the date of planned release of final stable release, later
changed for RC version release date (for us - stable enough for
start).
Now we have PR7 version - a stepping stone to good framework but...
not a final one in itself.

Our company has slightly delayed developing new application because we
waited for the final version of Symfony 2.0. Now we are stucked a
little - that's why I must ask this question, which - I think - may be
a bit difficult to be answered reliably:

What are the current plans for releasing stable final version of
Symfony 2? Any schedule or sth?

Something also has came to my mind: are there any plans for releasing
pre-final versions called in other way than 'PRx' ? I mean 'beta',
RC1,2, and so on... Maybe PR7 is last pre- version and my question is
pointless...

Should we start developing with PR7 (and deal with risk of small
refactoring after final release of SF2) or should we wait because
future changes will be a sort of revolution? We *can* deal with some
refactoring but rewriting 30% of code is not an option - not having a
clue about future plans we cannot answer this internally... That's why
I am asking.
I also suppose that this question is now one of the most asked ones in
companies lively interested in SF2 :-)

Best regards,
Paweł Skarżyński
