I've been playing with S2 (never used S1) and D2 since early December. I think Fabien is 100% correct with the annotations playing a larger role in how symfony2 works.
All I can say is that when I came across the FrameworkExtraBundle and read on it (I've still never used it), I was hoping that that becomes standard because it only makes sense. Personally, I use Annotations for my Entities, Validation, and since realizing (thanks to this thread) that the FrameworkExtraBundle came with standard, will be using that for routing as well. Routes inside controllers make more sense to me. +1 for FrameworkExtraBundle. -- If you want to report a vulnerability issue on symfony, please send it to security at symfony-project.com You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "symfony developers" group.
