First up its is more work, sure it can be scripted, but still its more work. And then the next thing is asking for bug fixes, people will be combining various different tags because they want that one feature from a newer tag and then will ask how to make it all work. Its just a pandoras box. Getting feedback is important, but in alpha stage there cannot be much hand holding .. not because we don't want to, but because everybody is short on time and we need to focus on getting to a stable release. Seriously, this will change once we are closer to a stable release. In the mean time if you dont want to live on the edge use submodules or a self maintained fork. Also the more people help on documentation, bug fixing (or even just verification) the faster we will get there. regards, Lukas Kahwe Smith [email protected] -- If you want to report a vulnerability issue on symfony, please send it to security at symfony-project.com You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "symfony developers" group.
