Ok, Lukas answered me on IRC, i was not using the correct TemplateReference class.
The correct code is : http://pastie.org/1843529 Symfony\Bundle\FrameworkBundle\Templating\TemplateReference instead of Symfony\Component\Templating\TemplateReference (btw, there were some typos in my pastie which didn't exist in my original code) Thanks !
