Our company has an AdminBundle as well (who doesn't nowadays!?) primarily suited for a very quick admin without extending a Django- like "Admin" class for configuration.
Obviously, duplicated effort is not ideal, but it's starting to look like most Admin bundles are becoming entire Dashboards rather than scaffolding (especially considering the total LOC). But, if the the core team actually blesses one of the bundles as the "official", then obviously some of us will jump ship & fork the official for our own needs...
