I assume what you are looking for is a solution so that you do not need to hand code your admin interfaces. The tool that William mentioned is a generator. So it generates code for you. Sonata is a set of base classes and services from which you can quickly build an admin interface. So they have different approaches. Personally I am not so big on code generation for code that I will eventually need to modify. At any rate I agree that its important that we offer a solution here.
