Aloha,

I wanted to warm this topic up again.

Fabien: It would be great to hear if you already have a tentative release plan
in your head.
I assume we will have RC's, but I am not sure if we will bother with alpha/beta
releases.
As stated on this list Symfony 2.1 will not become our LTS release mainly
because the Security Component is still in flux

Aside from this the question is of course what features we really want to see
done before and what still needs to be worked on to get there.

In no particular order (please add what you think its important but not yet
done):
- composer (seems to be progressing, but not yet stable)
- generating docs from Configuration classes
(https://github.com/symfony/symfony/pull/1099)
- serializer component finalization is done, but imho missing tests
(https://github.com/symfony/symfony/pull/2530)
- form component seems to be in good shape (but there are a couple of open PRs
related to form) , except for maybe the exception's not being based on spl
(http://groups.google.com/group/symfony-devs/browse_frm/thread/35f4e9f245a1e344#)
- addition of a Resource watcher component
(https://github.com/symfony/symfony/pull/391)
- session/flash message refactoring
(https://github.com/symfony/symfony/pull/2714)
- some documentation for the components
