    sure .. the time is now.

    IMHO its high time we get 2.1 out the door. i think the main thing
    to do now is to go through all the BC breaks and figure out which
    ones really make sense now that the dust has settled and then think
    about which BC breaks we do decide to keep we can implement with
    forwards compatibility 2.0.
