My question/issue is what would be the best way to go about this integration? I need to be able to track the media in the db as I had orginally planned (I think) in order to be able to assign images to certain types of content assets... for example to a gallery of images for a particular "article" or a list of pdfs for a particular "service".
In looking at the plugin I see it realies not on datables tables to track the paths and files but instead on scanning the file hierarchy on the server. So I think ive got two choices essentially - extend the actions, helpers, etc.. Or rework my tracking to rely on file structure.
