I know one thing I would like is recommendations for developers from other developers I know. I suppose linkedIn could provide similar functionality or a facebook app could do the same thing. But something geared toward finding developers to work with sounds nice. I know I *don't* go to FB or linkedIn now, and it's because I feel they are too generalized to provide me with a good lead.
