I am really trying to stay away from subdomains. I am really looking for more of http://www.domain.com/admin/ Mostly because I can hide it as a directory off the root. admin.domain.com would be publicly known in DNS records. That too me is a security risk. The problem with getting sub folders to work is everything I've tried with .htaccess files and creating directories has failed.
