Well, I didn't implement autologging on activation as if someone had
intercepted your activation mail, he would have been able to log in,
which I'd have considered as a serious security issue.

Well, cool. I wonder if the link you've clicked on in your mail client
was not truncated ? Because if the activation key is not found, an
uncatched propel exception might have been throws resulting sidplaying
the 500 error you saw. I'll look after this issue, thanks for the
report :-)
