Thanks for that. I'd love to take credit for that website, I really like 
it, but alas, I had no hand in designing it; I simply took the star 
rater example and used it.

I feel a little reassured that you've had no bad experiences with the 
if_javascript()/<noscript> solution.

Maybe if I have time I'll try and sort something out along the lines of 
your first suggestion.
