Actually it was only example to demonstrate my problem,
I'm using sfPropelPager to display my articles, do my code looks like
this in real

    $pager = new sfPropelPager('Article', 5);
    $pager->setCriteria($c);
    $pager->setPage($this->getRequestParameter('page', 1));
    $pager->init();

How can I use this feature in this way?
I was wandering if there's some Criteria feature to do this
