I was really excited about the new tutorial until today when I glanced at today's lesson and read that Propel will be used. I have to say I am a little disappointed. Any reason for this?
I was really looking forward to reading a great tutorial that uses Doctrine since I think the examples could be useful for everyone in the community. Also, it seems to me that the symfony project is trying to phase out Propel in favor of Doctrine, and it would be great to see how powerful doctrine and symfony can be together. Any thoughts?
