So let me rephrase the question. How can sfSimpleForumPlugin work on 1.2.2? What are the architectural changes? I'm a bit miffed atm since the documentation says "symfony 1.2 [...] is the right choice if you start a new project today". That's not exactly true if you want to use plugins like SimpleForum or SimpleCMS.
