I have a Mysql database with interclassement = latin or german. My project is working fine in Symfony 1.0 since 1 year.
I upgrade to 1.1 : OK I'm trying to upgrade to 1.2 : UTF8 issues. All my old datas are shown with wrong characters instead of accents (in french). If I create new datas with the project, they are fine, and I can retrive them with the accents. So, the problem is : why is Symfony 1.2 not recognizing the old datas ? I'm trying to convert my database in UTF8, but for now it doesn't work. It seems there is double-encoding... I'm stuck with that, I can't upgrade to 1.2 .
