Not much help to your project but you can do it with the Timestampable
behaviour in Doctrine.

actAs:
# ...
Timestampable:
created:
name: created_date
type: timestamp
From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On

AFAIK, no - created_at and updated_at behavior is hardcoded, as far I can
remember.
