Thank you for sharing your idea about that.
I agree with you: Joomla is not a good CMS.
It not have granular permission.
I prefer Xoops. Xoops have a granular permission dealed at two level:
1)in the kernel of CMS
2)in modules according to filosofy of CMS

Of course to develop all code with Symfony is the best choice...
but sometimes the problems is the time!
So you can have a CMS just developped with a lots of module and then develop
what you need.
It is a quite dirty solution but very very fast!

And.. it is not sure that it is dirty... if you find the right way to
write a module for CMS using
symfony.
