Apostrophe is now Symfony 1.4 ready! Our sandbox project now works properly with Symfony 1.4. We've addressed all of the validation errors (excepting some false positives caused by jQuery helpers and comments). It's really snappy under 1.4 too.
The svn trunks of all of the Apostrophe plugins (such as pkContextCMSPlugin) are compatible with both 1.3 and 1.4. You don't need to make any changes to existing 1.3 projects. But you really should start running project:validate and whacking your 1.4 compatibility bugs so you can upgrade. You can check out the 1.4 sandbox here: http://svn.symfony-project.com/plugins/pkContextCMSPlugin/sandbox/trunk The pkContextCMSPlugin README has been updated to cover the fact that this is now the preferred starting point for new projects. You can use our handy svnforeigncopy tool to copy it to your own repository with externals intact. That brings over everything you need, including Symfony. We haven't made new tarball releases yet, so you won't see any mention of 1.4 on our Symfony plugins pages yet.
