Hi, Same version here, sf1.4 and doctrine 1.2.
I've got the same result as you. The base class inheritance schema is correct. The problems appears if you add the I18n behavior to you schema. Read the ticket I wrote to fully understand the problem, I'v joined an example schema.yml. For the record, I've written a complete howto related to the subject we're talking about.
