Firstly I have no idea how to employ framesets in symfony, and I don't want to sound mean but to be perfectly honest a frameset in the vast majority of cases (and in my opinion all of them) are not necessary and there are so many other cleaner ways to actually get a site running without framesets. My advice to you is to find another way to do what you need to without framesets. Even if you don't use symfony, there are always better ways to do things than with framesets, they are really that ugly.
