   Ok, found my mistake, on day five I was supposed to change the 
executeShow() function in the job class to "$this->job = 
$this->getRoute()->getObject();", which I didn't. Now it's executing the 
correct sql statement and giving me the 404 error page on expired jobs.

could be a good idea to upload a zip file with the finished code to
