I used this in my default/indexSuccess.php
if (!$sf_user->isAuthenticated())
echo "get_component('sfGuardAuth', 'signin_form');
I also made the frontend app secure in security.yml and then modified
sfDoctrineGuard Auth, ForgotPassword and Register modules secure false.
