I think your problem is one of namespaces (assuming you have cut-and-
pasted correctly).

You said:
"I have created an entity class Application\MyBundle\Entity
\Product.php"

and yet in that entity class file, the namespace is:
"namespace Application\AffiliateStoreBundle\Entity;"
