Thanks for this! I've been having trouble with this very problem for days and figured it was a bug.
I've tried placing the template in both locations mentioned and neither of them seem to do the trick. I've made certain to clear my app/cache directory too. I'm using PR8 at the moment. (My apologies if this ends up showing up multiple times.
