New issue 1240 by [email protected]: sin(atan(x)) and cos(atan(x)) are
not simplified
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1240
>>> from sympy import *
>>> x = Symbol('x')
>>> sin(atan(x))
sin(atan(x))
>>> simplify(_)
sin(atan(x))
sin(atan(x)), however, can be simplified to x / sqrt(1 + x^2). cos(atan(x))
can also be simplified to 1
/ sqrt(1 + x^2). It would be nice if sympy performed this kind of
simplification.
