Sage doesn't strip zeros when printing single RealField and ComplexField  
instances.
The same goes for other Sage objects like polynomials (try RR['x']('1/10*x +
1/100*x^2')). I think your example is just the output of Maxima.

The alternative of enabling strip_zeros when printing a number as part of a  
bigger
expression was already suggested.
