New issue 1407 by smichr: solve doesn't recognize that tsolve can solve
y-a*x**b for x
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1407

>>> tsolve(y-a*x**b , x)
[(y/a)**(1/b)]
>>> solve(y-a*x**b , x)
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "<interactive input>", line 1, in <module>
   File "C:\Python26\lib\site-packages\sympy\solvers\solvers.py", line 237,
in solve
     assert poly is not None
AssertionError
>>> solve(a*x**b -y, x)
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "<interactive input>", line 1, in <module>
   File "C:\Python26\lib\site-packages\sympy\solvers\solvers.py", line 237,
in solve
     assert poly is not None
AssertionError

Note: I see that the line where the error occurs doesn't match what you
will see...I have added comments to the top of the file and that's why the
line count is different. The error still is the same, however.
