New issue 1592 by asmeurer: Pretty print Sum with a Sigma http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1592 Sum represents an unevaluated summation. Currently it pretty prints just the same way it is entered, but I think we should pretty print it with a Sigma. In [3]: Sum(1/x**2, (x, 1, oo)) Out[3]: Sum(x**(-2), (x, 1, oo)) Something like oo ---- \ 1 \ ── / 2 / x ---- x=1 would be better (only my ASCII art could probably be improved, and I don't know if there are any useful Unicode characters for this). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
