Comment #1 on issue 1648 by [email protected]: trigsimp fails http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1648
I played a bit and found that cos == sympify(1.0) and cos == sympify(1) show the same behaviour. There are some differences in the __eq__ method of the classes Real (which has the defect) and Rational (which works fine) I think adding if isinstance(other, FunctionClass): return False right before if other.is_comparable: other = other.evalf() solves this problem. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
