I was referring to PEP 8, and it doesn't mention this. Unless there is some other one that speaks about it, other than implicitly by PEP 20 :) (maybe actually "Flat is better than nested" applies here). By the way, has anyone here ever looked at PythonTidy? It tries to change code to match PEP 8.
