+1 This seems like a good option to have and although I tried to think of other cases where one would want this, none come to mind. So perhaps it's unique to factorint. I would recomment breaking up the example in moving from one form to the other in the docstring and using more verbose names--I had to read it a few times to see what was
going on:

regular = factorint(420)
then show it being changed to visual
visual = factorint(420, visual=True)
then show it being changed to the dict

At least I would recommend using more descriptive variable names.
