Sorry, Raffaele, you are right. I've never worked with that aspect of has
(or with
the option to look for a pattern).
Regarding the efficiency, you might see has_any_symbols() and
has_all_symbols() which
are optimized versions looking for a single symbol. But what you say about
the entire
tree walk is also True and after looking at has_any_symbols and reading the
commit
message about the lack of efficiency of has, I re-wrote it. If you are
working on the
same, you might compare it to what I tried in smichr's github branch 1766.
I am +1 on what you did.
