I don't use integration much. I don't mind just withdrawing this if we make sure that expressions are correctly integrated regardless of their state of expansion. On the other hand, I don't mind having a temporary fix that keeps anyone using sympy from running into troubles. So at least for that reason, perhaps we can push the temporary fix.
